i dont let two overpaid talking heads tell me what i should think about football, i watch the games and judge myself, because honestly, i think i know jus as much about this years teams as corso or herbstreet.

Bingo. I like USC though and think they're much better than people give them credit for. By your own stat Timmy, if they're 5th, they're not the best college defense ever as stated by the two Nostradumbasses Herbstriet and Corso.
I couldn't care less about this, but I see it as a 2 team race, OU and UT, Texas Tech doesn't have much of an argument with the beating they took last week. Even though OU looks much better at this point in the season, I give the nod to Texas because at this point it's really just a 2 way tie and Texas beat OU.
The voters are like the rest of you and are in love with OU, but it's going to come down to the computers and with the win in Stillwater OU may jump Texas.
i think of it this way
all three teams have one loss, but OU's loss came before the other two teams lost, and they are playing better than the other two teams, so they deserve to go, because the goal is to get the best team in the title game

they (USC) are the best D in the nation this year, but not the best ever.

those two safeties are just incredible for USC.
